Find out more about our childcare programmes

The College of Progressive Education, childcare school has grown in size since it was founded as the School of Practical Child Care in 1986. It is now the largest private childcare college in Ireland and, more importantly, within the profession it is undoubtedly the most highly regarded.

Our reputation is based on our belief that the welfare of the child is paramount, and that the best way to provide for this is to ensure that carers receive quality training and support.

The College's teaching staff is composed of qualified, committed people with a wealth of experience in their respective fields. They are chosen for their warmth and ability to inspire, motivate and encourage.

For example, graduates will find work in a crèche, pre-school or playgroup, or in a variety of other childcare related areas.

The College welcomes adult learners of all nationalities and we take pleasure in helping our learners to take the right steps towards a rewarding career in their chosen field. For their part, our learners tell us time and again that the friendly, supportive and welcoming atmosphere in the College has made their time with us both enjoyable and rewarding. (See testimonials)
