1)  After School Assistant needed for collecting children.

Part – Time position available, Monday to Friday from 2.00.p.m to 3.00.p.m.
Person must wait for children at designated primary school and accompany to After School.
Childcare qualifications, Occupational First Aid and Manual Handling are preferred.
Garda Vetting is essential. 

2)  After School Assistant needed for 5 days a week from 2.00.p.m (school term).

Duties include:
• Collaborate with the Manager for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services.
• Work as a team to devise and implement age appropriate (8 to 12 years) activities e.g arts & crafts, PE, ICT etc.
• Homework Supervision - Must be fluent in English and preferably have some basic Irish.
• Person needs to be available during school holidays to work mornings. Extra hours will be available during school holidays.
• Must be aware of all policies and follow the same.
Person Specifications:
• Qualification in childcare is preferred however position is open to students of childcare looking for work experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children
• Good Communication and Relating Skills with children, staff and parents.
• Have a sense of humour.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Garda Clearance essential.
• Occupational First Aid and Manual Handling preferred.
